Groovy Cellphone Story, Baby


I usually NEVER have my cell volume turned up. Lately, however, I have been listening to my iPod and walking around a lot so I had my cell with me in case of an emergency with the ringer turned WAY up so that I could hear it over my headphones.

Unfortunately, I was not in the habit of turning it off at night. So when Mom sent us all that text at 4am this morning, Brian told me that he was freaked out of his mind to hear Austin Power's voice proclaim, "YOU'VE GOT MAIL BABY, YEAH!" in the pitch dark of our room. Fortunately, I slept through it. The 3-5 hours of sleep that I do get each day is too precious to waste.

Poor Brian. ("...it was so funny though.")

    I am SO, SO sorry about the text thing! My phone just gives a tiny beep and I k now yours is always off anyway, so it never crossed my mind there would be a problem. I even forgot to send the explanation of how funny these white (24) rockers looked lining the hall of the San Antonio terminal for people to rock and read! Please promise me that you will give Brian a BIG apology from me and assure him I will never do that again!!!

The Secret Reason Why "Good Witch" Feels Emotionally Off

TL;DR It's the Botox. For the past 3 months, my wife, Stacia, and I have been watching  Good Witch  (via Netflix and Amazon Prime). Stacia adores winding down to "Hallmark-y shows." We can rely on Good Witch episodes to always resolve happily. The episodes are never too intense. The height of conflict revolves around things like someone's inability to locate the perfect spot to snap a romantic photo for a new tourism brochure. I consider my time watching these shows spouse bonding time , and emotional training. My favorite thing about watching feel-good shows with Stacia is getting to observe her facial reactions to the on-screen drama. When two people lean in for a long-anticipated kiss, Stacia tucks her knees into her chest and frowns with her forehead while lifting her chin and bottom lip. Who's Got The Funk?

I am an amateur guitarist, and I've got no funk. My musical skills seem to lacking that special something . Great musicians have it . Those fortunate enough to have gotten hold of  it , create timeless hits. While musicians without it  fade into oblivion. After spending hours searching through Blues history websites and 1970's band documentaries online, I discovered what that special something  is thank to a (70% Man, 30% fish) character from the BBC show "The Mighty Boosh" named Old Gregg.
