This week for MITE [Most Interesting Thing Ever] Night, Mindy gave us a 15 minute lecture on costume design with an emphasis in steampunk.  As a part of the presentation, Mindy dressed up Petey in her corset and cloak. This is just one example of the fascinating presentations we have at MITE night, held every Thursday night in Ben Wilson's apartment from 9 to 9:30pm. Past topics have included: permafrost, pro wrestling, 2011 economy, food storage solutions for singles, and understanding credit scores. The Corset The Cape Nosferatu !

Second floor entry to SLC Harmon's grocery taken with my LG Optimus phone The Story The new City Creek Harmons grocery store, located in downtown SLC, just open on Wednesday (February 15th, 2012).  It marks the first business in the new City Creek Mall to open.  And let me tell you, it was well received! I popped in during my lunch hour to look around.  Apparently 1000 other people were thinking the same thing.   Professionally groomed Managers were standing at the end of every aisle.  I was invited upstairs to walk through their cooking school. The kitchen was stocked with all state of the art equipment and fresh horderves were spread throughout the room encouraging a continual flow. As I was eating a meatball, I noticed a young lady—well-dressed, about my age—scurrying around the dining area with a clipboard.  I approached her and before I knew it, she was writing down her digits down for me.
