For the past two weeks, my refrigerator leaked water on our kitchen hardwood floor. Here's what you need to do to fix it.
- First thing you need to check is the veggie drawers to see if there is any water collected in there
- If that is clean, you may not be aware that many models of refrigerators have plastic pans underneath them to catch the water that defrosts from the freezer. Usually this water sits in the catcher until evaporates. Unfortunately, ours was cracked causing the water leak.
- There might be one more possibility, like there is a natural underwater spring beneath your frig, but I haven't looked into since my problem was resolved with the previous solution.
Good luck.
If you had a natural spring beneath your fridge that would particularly impressive, since you live on the second floor.
ReplyDeleteGlad you could resolve your own problem w/out waiting forever for the landlord.
ReplyDeleteI like the underwater spring theory. :)
