1. They desire to do good. "And they all cried with one voice, saying: Yea, we believe all the words which thou hast spoken unto us; and also, we know of their surety and truth, because of the Spirit of the Lord Omnipotent, which has wrought a mighty change in us, or in our hearts, that we have no more disposition to do evil, but to do good continually." [Mosiah 5:2]
Additional example: Alma 13:12 - Alma spoke of people who "could not look upon sin save it were with abhorrence."
2. They do not rebel against God. "And as sure as the Lord liveth, so sure as many as believed, or as many as were brought to the knowledge of the truth, through the preaching of Ammon and his brethren, according to the spirit of revelation and of prophecy, and the power of God working miracles in them—yea, I say unto you, as the Lord liveth, as many of the Lamanites as believed in their preaching, and were converted unto the Lord, never did fall away. For they became a righteous people; they did lay down the weapons of their rebellion, that they did not fight against God any more, neither against any of their brethren." [Alma 23:6-7]
3. Desire to share the Gospel. "And Alma baptized Zeezrom unto the Lord; and he began from that time forth to preach unto the people." [Alma 15:12] Remember that Zeezrom was an Anti-Christ before his humiliating conversion.
Additional examples: Enos 1:26, Alma 10:1-12, Mosiah 18:1; 27:32-37
4. They are filled with love. "And it came to pass that the thirty and fourth year passed away, and also the thirty and fifth, and behold the disciples of Jesus had formed a church of Christ in all the lands round about. And as many as did come unto them, and did truly repent of their sins, were baptized in the name of Jesus; and they did also receive the Holy Ghost. And it came to pass in the thirty and sixth year, the people were all converted unto the Lord, upon all the face of the land, both Nephites and Lamanites, and there were no contentions and disputations among them, and every man did deal justly one with another...And it came to pass that there was no contention in the land, because of the love of God which did dwell in the hearts of the people. And there were no envyings, nor strifes, nor tumults, nor whoredoms, nor lyings, nor murders, nor any manner of lasciviousness; and surely there could not be a happier people among all the people who had been created by the hand of God. There were no robbers, nor murderers, neither were there Lamanites, nor any manner of -ites; but they were in one, the children of Christ, and heirs to the kingdom of God." [4 Nephi 1:2,15-17]

Noelle, really! A white car? You must have meant, HER name! I'm voting for Chiquita Blanquita (Blanca for short) How about Nieve? It's somewhat of a given that Muerte's car should have a Spanish name for several reasons...Any other good ideas?
ReplyDeleteGreat list, Muerte- I'm holding myself up against each of the four to see how I'm doing...
