Where Should I Put My Shoes?


Unlike many of you, home owners, who have closets larger than a wiffle ball bat, I have no place for my 10 pair of shoes (including sandals/Chacos®.) I've been forced to get creative during my stay in my last few apartments. Here are a couple of methods I've tried:


  1. Under the bed in rows.
  2. Build my own two-tier shelf for the floor of my closet.
  3. Wear flip-flops every, single, day.
  4. Organizer that hangs from the door.

    Oh my goodness that is a brilliant idea!!! :) If you get it you will have to let me know how it works out for you. I have a huge walk-in closet and I don't have enough room for all my shoes it is a sad day...ha ha. I hope you are having fun up at your new place :)

    That is such a good idea! I have like 2 shoe shelves and it still isn't enough room. haha I am just as bad as Shawna. I hope you are enjoying your new place!

    That is a pretty good idea. I did the under the bed method while at the FLSR, it worked pretty well. Now they're in a piled heap in the closet again...I hate it.

    I recommend the wooden tiered place in the closet..under the bed has never worked for me. I will tell you that I have tried wearing flip flops every day and your feet will mutiny and your back will also take the hit. Your feet both deserve and need good support! It will make all the difference.

Werewolves: Variation on Mafia, the Group Game

I was first introduced to Mafia in 1995 at a Family Home Evening activity. With only 6-players in our family, we selected one Narrator, two Mafia gangsters (murder one person/night), one Detective (ask the narrator about the identity of one person/round), and sometimes we played with a Guardian Angel (who can save one person/round); everyone else were innocent citizens. THE WEREWOLVES OF MILLERS HOLLOW Review and Detailed Explanation Werewolves is essentially the same game. I played it on Monday night for an FHE activity as well. Who's Got The Funk?

I am an amateur guitarist. I've got no funk. And I’m pretty crossed up about it. In my personal quest to discover the funk I came across this bit featuring Old Gregg from The Mighty Boosh. Old Gregg observed that some groups have it for a time, and when they do, they produce timeless hits. He identified that special  something as  The Funk ! But what exactly is The Funk ?
