I've been obsessed with BOSE® Headphones for years now. BOSE have always been the highest quality (and most expensive) pair of headphones on the market. When I listen through them, I can FEEL the music better.
I have owned two pair; both "Triports". The first was Bose® around-ear headphones. After 2 years, the male end of the cord broke so I bought a pair of Bose® on-ear headphones which I returned shortly because they were far less comfortable. The sales people were great about the whole thing. Excellent customer service. Read the story here.
But now, I beginning to realize my elitist ways are not necessarily cohesive with my current cash flow situation. And this realization is causing me to question my material values. Mac computers really aren't "better" than PCs. And BOSE products don't really reign supreme in the music listening world. There are plenty of headphones that produce excellent quality sound and are literally small fraction of the price.
One thing that hasn't changed due to this economic hiccup we are all experiencing is my love for good music.
Bands I Currently enjoy listening to:
- The Cartel
- Death Cab for Cutie
- Owl City
- The Postal Service
- Snow Patrol
- Shiny Toy Guns
- Michael Bublé
I remember you getting your first Bose headphones a few Christmases ago. Glad you love them.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard any of the current bands you listed except the last...
Yeah I've only heard of deathcab for cutie and I don't even know what songs they sing. Good thing I know Michael Buble at least! I've got one up on Heather!
