Bryan's Shine to Myself



This is the incher. It was drawn by Justin, one of Bridge's instructors, during some of his down time--in only 4 minutes. My roommate thinks it looks like George Washington. I take that as a compliment; he was a very handsome man. Notice that it sketched in pen.



Here is a step-by-step of part of a painting Justin is working on. He just posted this video on the Academy's Blog:


This next drawing was done by a talented student named Doug. He said he took somewhere between 3-5 hours before gifting it to me. It's now hanging in a 18"x24" frame above my dresser. I know—it's kind of vain and weird.


I'm considering featuring it in a weird shrine and lighting those candles that sit down beneath it.

    I was right...yipee. It took me a while to figure out that the burst of color on the first pic is a guitar pick!! haha. It does kind of look like George. It's the nose. I just had a great idea. Give the drawing of you to your prospective Valentine Crush. That would really make it special for her! (Dry humor...)

    You're already halfway there to shrine baby! The second one does look more like you, but it took considerably longer. So why was this tricky? Didn't trick the two artists who answered so far.

Who's Got The Funk?

I am an amateur guitarist, and I've got no funk. My musical skills seem to lacking that special something . Great musicians have it . Those fortunate enough to have gotten hold of  it , create timeless hits. While musicians without it  fade into oblivion. After spending hours searching through Blues history websites and 1970's band documentaries online, I discovered what that special something  is thank to a (70% Man, 30% fish) character from the BBC show "The Mighty Boosh" named Old Gregg.
