God's Fireworks @ Buffalo Peak

These are pictures from our latest hike up Buffalo Peak. BP is the peak just behind Squaw Peak but before the giant Cascade mountain that has snow ridges into late Spring.







This is what was going on between taking pictures--Swatting at mosquitoes!
























This photo was photoshopped. Notice how Jolene is the same in this picture as the one below?






Chen had a grasshopper jump on him at the beginning of the hike. He thought it jumped off, but it actually rode him all the way up the mtn., back down and all the way home. Now he keeps it in a clear, plastic cup on our kitchen table.

    Wow! What great pictures, you've really got some good color in those. I'm glad you guys are enjoying hiking so much, I wish I could be there. Crazy about the grasshopper!

Who's Got The Funk?

I am an amateur guitarist, and I've got no funk. My musical skills seem to lacking that special something . Great musicians have it . Those fortunate enough to have gotten hold of  it , create timeless hits. While musicians without it  fade into oblivion. After spending hours searching through Blues history websites and 1970's band documentaries online, I discovered what that special something  is thank to a (70% Man, 30% fish) character from the BBC show "The Mighty Boosh" named Old Gregg.
