Should I Wait to Submit My Papers In?

If you're an 18-year-old, LDS, male and you want to have a shot at serving a mission outside of Utah in the next 12 months, wait to put your papers in.

I've been hearing from a number of sources that mission presidents in Utah are gearing up to take on 100 new companionships each. The apparent goal is to have one set of missionaries for every stake. Elders originally from Logan will be sent down to St. George, and Elders from Cedar will be called to serve in Salt Lake South, etc. This also means that members in Utah will actually be expected to help find and teach people along with missionaries in their stake.

Get ready. Missionary work is about to get real!

I am an amateur guitarist, and I've got no funk. My musical skills seem to lacking that special something . Great musicians have it . Those fortunate enough to have gotten hold of it , create timeless hits. While musicians without it fade into oblivion. The Hit Single Bang! by AJR is about Suicide

Introduction I listened to the lyrics to the AJR song, BANG! for the first time today and immediately noticed its connection to suicide. Curious why this wasn't obvious to more people, I googled it and discovered that I may be one of the few people who think this way. I'm not crazy, right? These repeated words brought to my mind a couple of terrifying statistics: Suicide is the SECOND leading cause of death for college-age youth and youth ages 12-18 ( CDC WISQARS ) The two leading methods of suicide (in high-income countries) are hanging and firearms ( The Parent Resource Program ).
