Stewart Falls Ward Hike

Friday at 6:30pm, about 30 kids from my ward drove up Provo Canyon to Sundance where we hiked about 3 miles to Stewart Falls. It was a moderately difficult hike with a lot of leaf cover. It was fun to walk with so many people because I was able to jump from one cluster of people to the next and get to know a lot of folks I haven't met before.


This is a picture of my crazy hometeachee. If you blow up the picture you can see her scaling the rock face.


Before we started on the trail, we ran into a group of young men who had just finished a lesson on the Armor of God and were about to wail on each other with those foam-covered bats.

    AWesome pics Bry. Nice work on the photoshoppin--you can't even tell. I wish there were fun hikes like that around here. It's almost too hot to even go outside for lunch these days--too humid.

    Love your post on Stewart Falls! It's so fun to see what you're doing and where you're going! I also LOVED seeing those mortal remains in the sand. They were outrageous!!

    Loved it loved it. I blew up all the pix. Can't tell on the pit stains - you're really a pro! Wish I could hike there with you. The kids and I really miss you and hope to see you soon!

Who's Got The Funk?

I am an amateur guitarist, and I've got no funk. My musical skills seem to lacking that special something . Great musicians have it . Those fortunate enough to have gotten hold of  it , create timeless hits. While musicians without it  fade into oblivion. After spending hours searching through Blues history websites and 1970's band documentaries online, I discovered what that special something  is thank to a (70% Man, 30% fish) character from the BBC show "The Mighty Boosh" named Old Gregg.
