If I were to work for the Government, I would want to be. . .

And the answer is: FBI Linguist

-I'd get to use my language skills
-Serve the country in directing policy
-I'd get to read tons and understand more about Latin America
-Analyze and interpret data
-Figure out the Latin American psych

-Benefits

One major drawback is that I would be confined to a small group of colleagues.

I enjoyed another visit with that Career Counselor from Singapore this morning. Today, we talked about the Campbell test and what bearing that had on my current [unemployed] situation. He accused me of being a "window shopper", which I am. He told me to go out and DO what I like to do.

Up until now, I've been a real pansy when it comes to actively pursuing my career interests. (I've also noticed a startling correlation between my career search and my social life.) What I need to do is volunteer, get internships, and then, jobs with benefits. Once I've found something I want to really pursue, go back to school for a Masters Degree.

    that photoshop picture cracks me up. I agree, there is no human reason for the lick but the guy in front's expression is perfect!

    As for the FBI, go for it!! I agree whole heartedly with your Singaporean counselor, go and DO!

Werewolves: Variation on Mafia, the Group Game

I was first introduced to Mafia in 1995 at a Family Home Evening activity. With only 6-players in our family, we selected one Narrator, two Mafia gangsters (murder one person/night), one Detective (ask the narrator about the identity of one person/round), and sometimes we played with a Guardian Angel (who can save one person/round); everyone else were innocent citizens. THE WEREWOLVES OF MILLERS HOLLOW Review and Detailed Explanation Werewolves is essentially the same game. I played it on Monday night for an FHE activity as well. Who's Got The Funk?

I am an amateur guitarist. I've got no funk. And I’m pretty crossed up about it. In my personal quest to discover the funk I came across this bit featuring Old Gregg from The Mighty Boosh. Old Gregg observed that some groups have it for a time, and when they do, they produce timeless hits. He identified that special  something as  The Funk ! But what exactly is The Funk ?
