Friday at 6:30pm, about 30 kids from my ward drove up Provo Canyon to Sundance where we hiked about 3 miles to Stewart Falls. It was a moderately difficult hike with a lot of leaf cover. It was fun to walk with so many people because I was able to jump from one cluster of people to the next and get to know a lot of folks I haven't met before. This is a picture of my crazy hometeachee. If you blow up the picture you can see her scaling the rock face. Before we started on the trail, we ran into a group of young men who had just finished a lesson on the Armor of God and were about to wail on each other with those foam-covered bats. LOOK HOW GREEN EVERYTHING IS! Blow this one up to do it justice. Can you see where I photoshopped out my armpit sweat marks? Blow this one up too. These are 5 of the 30 who didn't go wondering off once we reached the falls. The full shot of the falls.
Self growth is tender; it's holy ground. There's no higher investment.
